I agree, Lisa! I truly believe God placed the need for meaningful relationships in our lives. I think the degree of the need can vary from individual to individual, but it's one of the key ways He uses to help us, grow us and spur us closer to Him--realizing our ongoing sanctification/developing relationship with Him is of utmost importance. I've been thinking about this a lot, especially as I think about launching my kids into the bigger world. The key is security. Yes, we need to find our security in God. But this is another good reason why God emphasizes the need to Christian fellowship. Friends and family can give us the confidence to face new things.
